Each Character upgrade results in a bonus to one of the following:

• Scoreboard Power for the Scoreboard Sequence, so you can earn more rewards at the end of a Week.
• A profit multiplier for the Stadium they're associated with, so you can earn more Cash

Also Stadium automation requires Characters to be a minimum level.
